How Does Two At-Fault Accidents Affect Your Car Insurance?

Isn’t it great when you drive for 5 years… 10 years… 20 years… without an accident?

Oh ya!

Accident free, baby! That means your insurance rates are awesome!

Then you have an accident. It’s listed as your fault.

Then you have another accident. It’s also listed as your fault.

Damn!

That’s two at-fault accidents. How will that affect your car insurance rates?

2 at-fault in 6 years

Every insurance company has different rules, but generally speaking, two at-faults accidents in a six-year period puts you into a “high risk” category. That means that, all other things being equal, your car insurance policy will not be renewed.

Then what?

Then you call me, of course. 1-888-467-5499. I specialize in “high risk” policies. Just because your current company does not renew your policy, it doesn’t mean that you are not insurable. I can set you up with a new policy. Obviously, it will cost more than what you’re used to paying, but it also might not be as bad as you think. Give me a call and I’d be happy to give you a quote.

When you call, you should also know how many tickets or convictions you have had in the last three years.

I look forward to hearing from you!
